Yep March is upon us already – where is the time going? And what a month it should be… Starting with St David’s Day today, we’ve got Mother’s Day coming up on the 15th and not to forget St Patrick’s Day on the 17th. Lots to look forward to and celebrate, so we have introduced some new products to our menu to make your special occasion go down a treat.
We’re very excited here at the office about this new addition to the menu. A double gold award winning vodka, it is quadruple distilled and then filtered no less than seven times – but what makes it such a taste sensation is the fact that the final three filtrations are made through Herkimer diamond crystals. Completely free of additives it is thought to be one of the purest vodka’s in the world. A must try for any true vodka lover. Presented in the iconic Crystal Skull bottle which was designed by John Alexander and is made by Italian glass manufacturer Bruni Glass who declared the bottle to be of “unsurpassed design and complexity”.
The perfect gift this Mother’s Day – especially if you get to enjoy it together!
The perfect gift for mum? For all you processo lovers out there – have you tried Marcello? A sparkling red wine from the Lambruso Maestri variety, it has an intense rich ruby red colour and is a dry wine with a soft enveloping taste. Buy it on its own or pair it with a processo when you take advantage of our sparkling offer.
With St Patrick’s Day approaching we had to get an Irish Whiskey on our menu, we asked you guys for your opinions and the majority of you told us Jameson’s was the best. So we did our research and found out of course you guys were right – Jameson is by far the best selling Irish whiskey in the world. Established by John Jameson in 1780 at the Bow Street Distillery in Dublin and moved to Cork Distillers in 1966, Jameson Irish whiskey sold 56.4 million bottles worldwide in 2013. Produced with a blend of malted and green Irish barley both locally sourced, then dried in a closed kiln fired with natural gas, which is what makes it so distinctively different from other whiskies.
Our Jameson Irish whiskey is delivered to you in a lovely presentation box which includes two limited edition Jameson tumblers, making it the perfect gift for your friends and family this St Patrick’s Day.
As gin is one of our best sellers, we thought we’d give you some more choice in your selection, so to go along side our Bombay Sapphire, Monkey 47 and Hendricks gins we chose this fabulous bottle of Tanqueray for you to enjoy. After a lot of product tasting here at the office we all agreed this one came up tops. Originating in Bloomsbury, London, it is made in the traditional London Dry way by being distilled twice with the botanicals added in the second distillation. Although the recipe is a fiercely guarded trade secret someone let it slip that it does contain juniper, coriander, angelica root and liquorice. Tanqueray’s claim to fame came when Snoop Dogg mentioned it in his Grammy award winning song ‘Gin and Juice’ but Snoop Dogg is not Tanqueray’s only celebrity fan, Bruce Springsteen (Johnny 99), Notorious B.I.G (Everyday Struggle) and Rita Ora (How We Do) can all be heard mentioning Tanqueray in their songs to name just a few.
